I adopted Lexie 3 years ago. She was set to be "put down" the day after the amazing dedicated people from MUM rescued her. She went through the prison tails program. I am so thankful to Mixed up mutts and the wonderful young man that made my Lexie the MOST amazing companion I could ever ask for..Thank you

I adopted our dog Dagda in January. He is truly a wonderful dog. He is very well-behaved and has obviously had great training. He does have some separation anxiety issues, which is probably why he was abandoned in the first place. However, the crate training he received in the program has been the answer to this, as I am able to crate him when we leave the house, and he does very well. He's a sweet boy and has been a delightful addition the family. Thank you!

Pooka (then Mooka) was adopted through MUM on in March of 2003. We are his second family since that family. Thank you for rehabbing Pooka as he is our bestest little pal.

We adopted Tabitha from MUM in March. She is a wonderful dog. The folks at MUM did a great job training her. We love having her and would definitely adopt from MUM again.

I just joined this website on Facebook where you can adopt a pet virtually. Its called Save a Dog. Everytime you log in it donates a food to dogs in need. I had to adopted Mickey since I know my husband loves him.

We adopted Chance who was in the very first Prison Tales class - how young he was in the photos! He is a wonderful dog, very spoiled & loved. I can't say enough good things about Mixed Up Mutts, all that they do and stand for. We both thank them for our wonderful dog Chance, and have tons of photos if you would like to see him now!

It will be two years since I adopted Murphy (formerly Bishop) from MUM. He is such a great dog and I am very lucky that he became a part of my family. MUM is a great program and Murphy and I appreciate all you did for him.

I adopted aAuba 6 weeks ago! I love her so much. She is the most well behaved puppy I have ever seen. I'm not the best with training so her being trained already it awesome. She doesn't go to the bathroom in the house and doesn't get into anything. Never chewed on anything but her dog stuff. But she still has the energy of a puppy and loves to walk and play. I am so blessed to have adopted her from mum. She is a shy dog and I know that she wouldn't be the great dog that she is today without mum. Thank mum for all you have done for her.

We adopted Brooks in June 2008. He is a great dog and Prison Tails is a great program. This summer Brooks took me to obedience school so I could become as smart as he is.

my boyfriend is an inmate at westville. I think this program is wonderful. He loved animals before and it is really therapeutic for him to have them there. He always tells me about the dogs. I'm really glad that this program exsists. both the dogs and these men need it.

I lost my Airedale to cancer in September 2008. When I was ready for another dog, I came to Mixed Up Mutts and adopted Cliff in November 2008. When I heard his brother, Flash, was available I came back and got him in May of this year. I love my boys! Great program that benefits the inmates, dogs and anyone looking for a furry friend.

I love this process. It helps both the prisoner and the dog. I recently lost my beloved dog to cancer - it is difficult since we were together almost 24/7 for many years. He was truly a gift to me... I am not ready yet, but may check out one of your dogs when I am...

I love that the prison tail dogs get a 2nd chance as well as the inmates. This is a very good program.
